Built around the goal of improving pork quality, BGG developed the MengXiang commercial pig line and completed carcass trait and meat quality evaluations through an authoritative institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The results show an average dressing percentage of 70.5%, a lean meat percentage of 64.2%, and intramuscular fat content reaching 3.82%, with strong performance in key quality indicators such as meat color and marbling score.
The MengXiang line places special emphasis on traits such as intramuscular fat in Duroc terminal sires, improving pork quality from the genetic foundation upward. It is designed to deliver premium pork with reliable flavor, nutrition, and performance.
